Island GIS continues to develop its team based in Edinburgh with the appointment of John Byrne as Project Manager.
As a GIS specialist, John has gained his academic qualifications from the Royal School of Military Survey in 2000 and 2004. After a 14 year career with the British Army as a GIS analyst working on projects all over the world in areas such as Europe, Middle East and the Far East. John brings an enthusiasm for GIS and it's wider utility after working on a huge variety of projects which have included Military, Emergency Services and Local Government stakeholders.
